About

  • My goal as a therapist is to help support and guide others to live their best life.  Life can be difficult and having a safe place to communicate your feelings, frustrations and thoughts is one of the healthiest things we can do for ourselves. Learning to better understand ourselves provides us the ability to grow and learn and change unwanted thoughts or behaviors. I have over 20 years of working in the Community Mental Health field with an array of understanding and working knowledge around multiple diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, isolation, Bi-Polar, trauma, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder.

I may not understand everything that you are experiencing but I am here to listen and help guide to you a place that is healthy for you. Life is to hard sometimes to take this journey alone.

  • As a Licensed Professional Counselor dating back to 2015, my journey in the field has been diverse and enriching. Originating in Knoxville, Tennessee, my experience extends through various settings including non-profit organizations, school-based counseling, and outpatient clinics before relocating to Delaware in pursuit of coastal living in 2015.

I entered private practice in 2018 but opened up my own private practice in 2023, driven by a profound belief in the multifaceted nature of counseling. From trauma recovery to providing a supportive ear, from navigating life transitions to managing daily stressors, counseling offers a spectrum of assistance. My mission is to guide individuals towards healing, resilience, and enhanced coping mechanisms tailored to their unique circumstances.

Emphasizing a personalized approach, I prioritize the cultivation of a trusting therapeutic alliance. Collaboratively, we delineate goals and craft a treatment plan tailored to your needs. My therapeutic framework draws from Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), recognizing the intricate interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My aspiration is for you to attain inner peace, adopt healthier perspectives, and acquire effective coping strategies conducive to leading a fulfilling life. Whether you find solace in the mountains or tranquility by the beach, I am here to support you on your journey towards holistic well-being
